HolographyCL at the 10th School on Theoretical High Energy Physics @ UdeC

Last week, the University of Concepción hosted the 10th School on Theoretical High Energy Physics. From December 2 to 6, this event brought together postgraduate and advanced undergraduate students, leading academics, and researchers to discuss cutting-edge topics in theoretical physics.

The lectures covered a broad range of advanced subjects including Chiral Perturbation Theory, Holographic Entanglement Entropy, Modular Forms, Quantum Gravity, String Theory, and so on. From HolographyCL, Professors Alberto Faraggi and Francisco Rojas participated, delivering courses on ‘Topics in AdS/CFT’ and ‘Perturbative Aspects of Quantum Gravity and String Theory,’ respectively. This diverse lineup highlighted the event’s high caliber and its relevance to current research trends.

Prof. Andrés Anabalón (in the center of the picture)  from the Department of Physics emphasized the school’s critical role in imparting advanced knowledge and fostering international collaboration among students. “The invited speakers are key figures in their fields, and we aimed for our students to not only learn but also to establish networks of international collaboration,” he commented.

The 10th School on Theoretical High Energy Physics not only enriched the academic journey of its participants but also served as an essential platform for global scientific exchange. This event continues to set a standard for students and scholars eager to participate in discussions shaping the discipline’s future.

Here we leave the school website and the note on the official UDEC news page.
