Welcome to the Kickoff Meeting HolographyCL! This is the first encounter in a series of events organized and funded by the Anillo Grant “Holography and its Applications to High Energy Physics, Quantum Gravity and Condensed Matter Systems”, or HolographyCL for short. The purpose of this initiative is to promote collaborative research among institutions in Chile and abroad in the area of holography and its different applications.
This meeting is being held at the Facultad de Ciencias of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, in Campus Curauma, Chile. It includes plenary talks by our invited speakers Marc Henneaux (Université Libre de Bruxelles), Glenn Barnich (Université Libre de Bruxelles), Gaston Giribet (Universidad de Buenos Aires) and Nicolás Grandi (Universidad Nacional de La Plata), as well as regular talks and short student talks by registered participants. Afternoon sessions are reserved for free discussions.
